Festival Amenities:

Parking

General Parking is free. It is outside the park, but within walking distance. A shuttle bus is provided to transport guests to and from the festival grounds.

Premium parking is available for $10 on a limited basis. Based on last year's experience, it is advisable to pre-purchase your premium parking through the website when you buy your tickets. Guests with premium parking passes must have them available as they approach the Campgrounds, otherwise they will be directed into a general parking holding area until they find it to avoid traffic back ups. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Refreshment

Food vendors and Rockahock's Walker Dam Grill provide plenty of choices for hungry guests. Private food or drink is not allowed on the grounds. Our vendors support the entertainment and costs of the festival and we ask that you support them. If you decide to bring your own food, we ask that you eat it in the general parking area or rent a camping area.

Rockahock Campground has a full-service ABC license and will offer a wide variety of Celtic favourites this year at the parade field, in the Traditional Pub, Walker's Dam Grill, and the Rockadome. Private beers, wines, or spirits are not allowed in the festival grounds due to ABC restrictions and politeness to our hosts. Rockahock Campgrounds has been this festival's largest sponsor for the last four years and we need to help them, help us. Open container laws prohibit drinking alchohol in the parking lots.

Comfort and Aid

Restrooms and showers are available behind the Highland Dance Pavillion. Restrooms are available in the Traditional pub, behind the Rockadome, and in the Walker's Dam Grill. Limited portapotties are available at the Highland Athletics Field.

Contact an information booth volunteer, a staff member, or Rockahock's Registration Desk for minor emergencies or injuries. Call 911 for all serious or life threatening situations. We also have local police patrolling the festival.

Hours of operation:

Friday night, doors open at 6 pm for the Reception and 8 pm for the Ceilidh in the Holiday Inn Patriot. The Rockahock Roadhouse will have regular hours on Friday for festival campers.

Rockahock welcomes vendors, clans, and societies on Friday morning to begin setting up their booths and displays. They ask that setup be completed NLT 9 am Saturday and that all vehicles be removed to designated parking at 8:45.
